(Warband) Finding that Spy in the town

Trying to find the spy in Bariyye... Been doing it for about 20 minutes saying the phrase and all the other options and yet the Spy still seems to elude me.

...Oh yeah, I did a search and the only conclusion I could come up with is that the guy who gave me the quest indicated the spy was male and there doesn't seem to be any male villager models to spawn so it doesn't spawn em'...

I'm confused by exactly what you mean here.

That being said, maybe it will help to know this: there seem to be eight roaming villagers in each town and village, just like M&B.  if you keep track you may find that the eighth is eluding you.

After talking to *everyone* I ran into (I don't think the spy would be that elusive in a town...) using all the phrases available I still couldn't find the spy.

...And is it normal to have 8 "Townswoman" spawning every single time you reenter the town in the hopes of finding the poor sod?
