I let him sign up under the alias because he was ignored in both mock drafts and the main draft by every captain. He was even listed as Zoyka in the draft and no one picked him. Simple as that. Probably wasn't the right choice but then again I see a lot of people posting here, part of teams that have cheated or admin teams that have cheated/made terrible decisions. Don't try to take the high road if you don't belong there. It was a mistake, it has been fixed.
Was original signup as Zoyka. Changed his name to Kaiji. It is also not against the rules to sign up under any name. So this is all mute.

I also want it to be known, I am stepping down as admin, regardless of this situation being "handled" It is obvious my opinions and views were not needed. Maybe I acted rashly with posting last night, but I was approached by captains about the issue last night and chose to back them as an admin, so the community would know that not all the admins were going behind the back of the tourney. I will continue as a captain, but wash my hands of this horrible decision making and blatant ignorance for anyone's opinion other than his own and maybe Zaffa, who was added as admin recently.

The admin team has reviewed the commentary within this thread and has decided to take remedial actions to resolve both legitimate and perceived concerns within the community. The concerns relate to the following:

[*]Concerns about the efficacy of the current administration to run a fair, fun, and impartial tournament

With respect to Zoyka, he has been removed from Praven Patriots and resubmitted to the FA pool. This was determined by both myself and Rob given the murky nature of the situation. It is unclear what information was available when, and the admins have decided that it was in the best interest of the tournament to just do a hard reset to the situation. While no rule prohibiting registration under a smurf officially existed within the rule set, the activity is highly frowned upon, and the omission of said rule was merely the result of an oversight by the administration.
Going forward, the following rule has been introduced to the tournament.
As for concerns about the administration of the tournament, in particular Rob's controlling influence over it, Rob has agreed to implement significant changes to relieve people's concerns. Rob has stated that his primary goal in creating this tourney was to create a multi national event that allowed people of all backgrounds, regardless of nationality or level of competitive experience, to have a fun time.
As such, Rob has agreed to cede much of the control he had over the tournament. There will no longer be a head admin position. Instead, there will merely be an admin panel to decide matters based on majority vote. There will also be a greater initiative to keep all admins informed and part of the decision making process. To accompany this change, the admin panel has been restructured as follows:

We feel that this rule should sufficiently prevent this situation from re-occurring moving forward. The FA pool is already depleted with only known players remaining. As such, there is no risk of the current pool having smurfing issues.
