Kabookie
Sergeant

This game has invaded my dreams and this was a very vivid dream:
Escorting m'lady through a village I began to notice groups of about 3 Swadians each moving toward the town. In town m'lady notices something she wants and we continue to the craftsman place to inquire about the cost. I express that we can not afford it and they ask if I could offer half the cost and a deal is struck. I notice more of the approaching Swadians and begin to warn people of an attack about to happen. I figure it is a good time to seek better weapons since my home made crossbow is not sturdy as I would like. We come upon a skirmish between a couple towns people and a Swadian. Shooting him with my crossbow, my bolt sinks deep in his chest but he is still alive. Approaching him I pull the bolt from his chest, as I am a poor boy and must reuse what I can. His opponents are about to kill him and he pleads for a quick death. Again I warn them of the attack about to happen. I leave m'lady at a town center and continue on to fix my crossbow. At a pass I barely avoid a great lance from charging cavalry. Heart pounding and the adrenaline is rushing now and I am sure glad, because it helps me over an embankment just in time to dodge javelins being thrown at me! They seem to be attacking anyone displaying a weapon. I meet a craftsman and get my crossbow reenforced. Upon my return I see much damage and fires throughout the town and pray that my warnings had helped some prepare for the assault. Most of all hoping I had left m'lady in a safe place.
There is no rush like surviving a cavalry charge when you realize there would be no re-spawn or Round Two.
