Warband and my questions

Yes after 3 days of playing mount and blade i am a noob, and if your just going to troll go back to your cave.

Now it says Warband multiplayer beta now open to everyone with a Mount & Blade serial. But i see no link to sign up/download? any help.

Can you import your Mount and blade character to warband? (I highly doubt this one but a man can dream)

Are there any clans recruiting new people? I have a good 6 years of gaming experiance across platforms from FPS to MMO's. I can pick things up and really don't mind putting in the time to help out/get better.

So, any help?

No, you cant import charac from M&B, because they do not use personal stats in warband beta.

And yes, there are a lot of clans here, just look a little around on this board, then you will find them.

There is a neat little sticky thread called "DOWNLOAD LINK" on the warband page of the forum.

No you cannot import your character.

Most clans are looking for players who can fight rather well. But you may find one recruting new players.

Thank you, but can is there no leveling or to room to improve in warband/get new weapons, if theres only pre-set classes and the same stats i think that sucks. No originality.

Thanks, but yes i've been looking around but i'd most seem to be non English based clans/are too big for my liking. I don't want a huge clan where not many people know each other or it's hard to get everyone online at the same time.

About the leveling - once the game is released there will most likely be mods that will bring you this feature.

About clans: just browse around the forum for a while and have an open eye ingame - eventually you will find a group of players that you have fun playing with, and there are enough english clans around. Just take your time.

Well, I'll interpret your question about imports this way: No, you can't import your character from the original M&B into Warband singleplayer. The versions are incompatible.

About clans, if you're European I personally wouldn't suggest the 22nd Then again, the best way to get to know a clan is to hang around in their ventrilo or teamspeak server while you play. If they aren't around while you play, go find another clan's server!

If you're U.S. (which I doubt considering the current time), you could check out nK. I'd also suggest AV, but they might have just dissolved. Not sure.

You can choose your equipment. As you kill, you get gold. You use that gold to buy stuff.

Might want to expand on that:

You can choose one of three "classes" and change at any time during the game. They usually are:

Infantry
Archer/crossbowman
Cavalry

Each one has various equipment choices for each type of armor (head, body, hands, feet), and several weapons (one-handed weapons, two-handed weapons, polearms, throwing weapons, bows, crossbows). Of course, some have different options than others. Archers have bows and one-handed weapons typically, while crossbowmen can also get shields to compliment their more defensive role. No two troop types have the same stats, so some factions have better infantry than others while their ranged troops might pale in comparison.
