Warband 1.151 not tested on Brytenwalda 1.393

We have not properly tested how Brytenwalda works with the new version of Warband - both single- and multiplayer.
So if anyone has done this please share your experiences - good and bad  :smile:

Tonight we will begin to work on a fast hotfix to port Brytenwalda to the new version of Warband.

1.  Can no longer recruit from prisoners
2.  Some in game sounds are missing (like coin sound on buying things)
3.  Wages of companions and some troop types have changed.

May it is just me but i have had none of those issues, the first and third issue you have brought up is managed by the bryten module not the base game files.
 
The issues only seem to occur in my most recent game.  Older games started a few months ago don't seem to have these problems.
 
It's a 1.393 game started before 1.151 patch:

- Horn use on battle, either by me or by my opponent triggers a lot of Opcode errors. Can't be sure if it's 1.151 triggered only, because the item & the noble warfare (The only ones using Hornmen, afaik) on my savegame started after 1.151 (So much time spending trading, hunting and on competitions :wink:). But it's 100% repeatable.
 
a network msg, no? we have fixed that for next path. It is a conflict enter multiplayer and sp horn.

Yes... All strings have "net_msg" attached. I can take a SS of it if needed... And good news to see you already squashed it.

I can confirm this. This happened to me too. My save started on a clean install of Brytenwalda 1.393 after 1.151 patch was applied.
 
Just when I thought 1.143 would be the last version of Warband update ever made, 1.151 came out.. I guess one should never take things for granted ey  :grin:
 
Does entrenchment bug out for anyone else? Playing in a game started in 1.151 (I think), whenever I entrench in my camp or in a siege I can't "wait here for some time" or "Wait until tomorrow", clicking it just returns me to the menu immediately.

I also seem to have permanently lost 3 strength and agility from the mushroom event rather than temporarily.
 
idk if it's the version, but I stumble and fall almost the whole time, like 10 to 20 times per battle, just started brytenwalda, need some tips

That's a game feature to make combat more realistic. You can turn it off my going to Camp > Mod Settings.

It would be cool if NPCs would fall in battle too, which never happens... Same thing for Stamina...

They fall. You really notice it in the giant battles as sometimes when an army is marching towards their enemy, you'll see a man or two fall down in his tracks and not get back up. You can really see a good example when the enemy is routing as they're much more likely to be tired and not escape.
 
Think I've found a bug, I can't free my companions from a certain dungeon because there is no door to go inside, nor to the Hall of the castle (Denisesburna) I'm frustrated =(

tried to talk with the lord to see if there were options to free the guys, and tried entering the prison via teleport, but none work, I can't set them free, and there are around 8 men arrested... Really, we'll I have to start over!??!?!?!?

The mushroom damage was permanent prior to 1.151, athough I can only assume it is working as intended.

Regarding companions as prisoners: I know it's possible to pay the ransom broker to release companions.  Are you referring to companions that you made into lords?  Lords can be freed in a small number of way: Speak with the guard, then kill him; Pay the ransom (somehow, I've never been successful at this); Liberate the castle where the lords are held (This is the method I'm most certain of).

All those things relate to the default game, I don't think this mod affects any of them.
