War Thunder, Update 1.97: Swedish Tanks

Ah, so it's silly internet stuff, alright.
I thought there was actual info already.

Then again, seeing as you can successfully dogfight when flying Russian bombers, this one's going to be hilariously broken as well. You just know it if you played this game for longer than a month.

I see Wellen still hasn't pulled that russian **** out of his ass, must hurt.
In a way, Kevlar here is right, although he has a rather strong way of putting it. The only Russian planes that I consider broken are the I-153s. People need to realize that they're not flying on version 1.29 anymore. Are Russian planes powerful? Well, yes. But the same can be said for German, American, British, and Japanese planes. Are Russian planes overpowerful? Maybe a couple. But not all.

They aren't. The current mid-tier line up for Russians isn't great compared to the mid-tier line up for Germans, Brits and Americans.

The low tiers are ridiculous though, and most of their bombers are broken.

"Very close" if you close your eyes and shout "lalalala" really loudly. :???:

This.
You can dogfight in them. Case closed.
Laughing about them being so broken has nothing to do with having Russian **** up any arses.

@Wellen: Anyway, going back to our original topic, nothing has been officially confirmed afaik except the Yak-9U. The rest of the info has been the result of unofficial data mining.

Given that it's an existing file we can be sure that it will come at some point. If only because I guess we can all agree that they want to have a full "late" load out for every nation at some point, which needs to include bombers of some sort.
Of course the timing is atrocious, but hey, Gaijin

A dev just posted this on the WT forum's WIP board. No further info.

American planes are made of tissue and fly like bricks, but some days in the distant land of arcade even a Hawk can fly.

A good day with the A6M2.

Destroying Yaks, LaGGs and Spitfires was never easier. In the course of the round our team had a miserable 10% on the score board and we were about to lose, while the enemies had both airfields. After my Ki-45 was torn out, I took the A6M2, killed some planes, captured the airfield back (while wildly dodging cannonfie on the ground), killed some more and landed to repair just in case. With those 11 kills I had managed to throw quite a lot of players from the match and we won solely by destroying all the enemy planes. Epic fail on their side.
