Just had a ton of bull**** dropped on me by the game. I was the last man left on Kuban in my Bf109F-4. I had 3 kills and was left with just 2 more pesky Ruskie's to finish off. My plane was freshly 'repaired' and rearmed. I was happily flying at 16,000ft, just 4,000ft short of the 109's optimum height for best performance. At this point I spotted a LaGG-3-66 above me (somehow) and climbed dramatically to 20,000ft to engage. After an initial turning pass I turned to engage him, taking advantage of the sudden drop in speed from my rapid climb to pop landing flaps and spin round to engage him... yet the plane would not turn. It just stayed going head-on, at 90º, wobbling. The LaGG-3-66 was then able to sit on my tail and blow me apart at his leisure - I couldn't roll, climb, dive, turn, nothing - the plane just locked up at what is supposed to be the height it performs best at. Pissed me right off.
