This post is the one I made for old Three Kingdom mod. I'll post it again for reference.
I used this site for most of research. The site is Japanese.

These drawings were unfortunately not with the same scale. Also any name with * means it is Japanese pronounciation. Not with Chinese one.
Historical Weapons

these weapons were used during/Previous to the Three Kingdom era. The biggest difference is lack of Sou* or Spear. Bou* is a kind of spear but different thing. Length was regulated by ancient formula that the maximum length of the weaponry is three times longer than the hight of user, thus making the longest weapon about 4.8m.
1. Ka* perhaps pronounced as Qua, or Xa. Ancient Weapon used exclusively for chariots. Because of the nature of Chariot, this weapon is much more effective than spear. Length can be vary, 80cm to 3m. It was already out of use during Han dinasity.
2. Bou* Spear but had longer, bigger head. This is the main weapon of Three Kingdom era. it would be superceded by true spear.
3 and 4. Saku* Pike, or Lance. Originally the name of cavalry lance (no.4 shows the one with strap) but later also refered to pike for infantry.
5. Geki* Halberd. used the same Chinese Character with later Halberd. It is first developed by combining Ka* and Bou*. This shows the separate construction.
6. One-piece Geki*. 6b shows newer version.
7. Double-sided Halberd. It is my reconstruction of Lu Bu's weapon as it might have been in the Three Kingdom era. There're a mention of this type of weapon, though.
8. Sword. By the TK era, the use of sword was in decline and later nearly completely taken over by falcions.
9. Falcion. Since this is easy to make and easy to master (also cheper), this weapon was very popular in TK era. In TK era, falcion was straight, or with very little curve. Pommel was ring. length 80cm-1.2m. This is also the ancestor of the Japanese Sword.
10 Hishu* Dagger. called the King of Assassin.
11. Hand Halberd. Length 50-70cm. can be thrown.
12. Pi. The biggest characteristic of this weapon is the head was not socketted, but tanged and had the same shape as short sword. Until the Terracotta Army was found, they were considered as a short sword. This weapon was out of use by TK era.
Falcions

Because of its ease of use, falcions become the major Chinese sword type. As 'Falcion attacks like an tiger', their moves are fast and aggressive. Strange marks along the blade shows cutting blade. The guard is usually a circle plate.
1. Willow-leaf Falcion. the commonest type of falcion.
2. Fudiendao/ Batterfly falcion. length 50cm. used in pair.
3. Jiuhandao/ Nine-ringed falcion. Those rings are not just for ornament. They are jingled to surprise enemy horse.
4. Dakandao/ Large Chopper falcion.
5. Jiedao/ Monk's falcion. Originally an utility tool to make a germent. length 90cm. It has a oval hand guard.
6. Taijidao. 2 hander? Long slim blade.
7. Wodao/ Japanese Sword. 1 hander. originated by Japanese Sword.
8. Devil's Head falcion. has a small round thing.
9. Dack's Wing falcion.
10. Baguadao. Used by Baguaquan, a school of martial arts. length 1.4m, blade length 1m and used with two hands.
11. Scissor falcion. Or Kyo*'s falcion. Used by a school of mertial art in southern China. very saber like weapon and can thrust.
12. Nine-Teeth falcion. According to text, the teeth can be used for cutting.
13. Sprout falcion. 'Sprout' also means 'slender'. Derived from Japanese Sword and very similar in use. length 140cm and two hander.
Swords are difficult to make and harder to master. Because of this, they once saw near-extinction. It is said that 'Sword is used like Phenix', beauty and precision are the main factors.
14. Viper Sword.
15. Chinese character is wrong! This is called Thorn Sword.
16. The wronged Chinese Character was 'double handed sword'. Length 140cm.
Long-range weapons

Perhaps the most Chinese like of all weapons. these ones are just a part of them.
1. Dadao/ Great Sword. Length 1.9m, Blade length 56cm, Blade width 25cm, Weight 18-38kg. It has limited range (hand grips just below the blade) but deals massive damage. It seems this was not invented in TK era. The main purpose of this weapon is to smash the heaviest of opponents, especially heavy cavalry.
2. Moon-Craw Spade. Originally a tool. This is first used by Shaolin monks as a self-defence weapon and digging a hole for burying.
3 and 4 Halberd.
5. chopper Sword. this is my interepretation. the blade of falcion was fitted to a shaft. It is much lighter than Dadao and has longer reach.
6. Three-Pointed Double Blade Sword.
7. Elepahnt Sword. This is a variant of Dadao, with the blade imitating wound elephant's trunk.
8. Eagle-Head Sword. a variant of Dadao.
9. 10. 11. Various tridents. 9 is Dragon's Moustache trident, 10 is Ox's Head trident, 11 is River trident.
12. Great Axe. Usually 2m long, but a document suggest the existense of 5m monster axe.
13. Wolf's Fangs Stick. Wolf's Fang is a triangular spike. This weapon is a improved version of double-handed mace.
14. Wolf's Fangs Mill. Improved Handmill.
15. Viper Spear Spade. I wrote 'Rake', but it's a Spade. Opposite side of this weapon is Spade (the one in 2).
Other Short-range Weapons

1. Hook. Quite popular weapon. Hook can be used to cut rein, hook and drag down a horse man as well as tangling enemy weapon. It is also dangerous to practise because there're so many blades all over.
2. Kokoran* Tiger's Stride. A variant of Hook. With misterious chains in middle.
3. Moon Fang Needle.
4. Jitsugatsukonshintou* Or, Sun-Moon Pairing Sword. A rare weapon of Shaolinquan. Looks very similar to Klingon weapon. Total length 1.5-2m, Blade length 30cm each.
5. Cicada's Wing sword. Another Klingon weapon.
6, 7. Mace. Chinese mace has very huge head compared with Western siblings. 7 is Pumpkin Mace, with punpkin-shaped head.
8. Kan* Can be translate as Sword Club. Square, or Triangular lods with handle. It can be as heavy as 7kg.
9. Whip/ Hard Whip. Metal rod.
10. Axe. Usually used in pair (most of weapons in this is used in pair, though).
11. Sickle.
12. Yin Yang Sharp Cock's Craw. A hybrid of Tonfa and hook and other more. Very impressive shape.
And they are reconstructed armour of Three Kingdom period.
A kind of info with Japan.
TK era was also very important time in Japanese History. It was because at the time of third, or fourth Emperor of Wei (Just before Wei was taken over by Jin) was contacted by Japanese emissary and left an extensive report on Japan (A guy called chinju* was actually dispatched to Japan to act as a military advisor. He satyed there for 13 years). Japan, or Wo, it was called that time was very primitive country just came out of Neolithic age.
It is said Wo was divided into more than a hundred countries. One country, called Yamato (or Yamatai-koku) was the head of Yamato federation that controls thirty some countries. Yamato was governed by Himiko, A priestess, magician and oracle.
Their weaponry was very limited. No horse. Almost no metal weapon (only imported ones). Armours were basically two wooden boards sandwiching wearer (possibly some imported armour was in use). Also sheild was widely used. Marcial Arts also shows Chinese influence, if not they were imported. Sumo was originally developed in China this time, for example.
