This mod will be based on the Dragonlance saga and more exactly on the war of the Lance.
300 years after the Cataclysm, Takhisis, Queen of Darkness and goddess of evil, brought the destroyed temple of the Kingpriest to the Abyss, her realm. Using her powers she corrupted it, converting it into a gateway that connected with Krynn through a Foundation Stone in Neraka. Through it, she returned to the world of Krynn, taking her dragons.

Meeting on Sancrist, the remaining free nations formed a temporary alliance in order to fight back against the Dragonarmies. The nations that were part of the alliance were the Knights of Solamnia, the gnomes, the Neidars (hill dwarves), and the people of Southern Ergoth. Although not members, the mountain dwarves, the Qualinesti and Silvanesti elves, and the kender joined to assist the Alliance.

Factions

-Qualinesti: The Qualinesti elves are Silvanesti ones who decided to follow Kith-Kanan, the younger of Silvanos' grandsons, to a new land with the promise of social equality and more interaction with the outer world. The turning point for this event came with the Kinslayer Wars, where elves of Silvanesti fought humans and elves in service of the Emperor of Ergoth, to expel Ergothian forces from Silvanesti's western border lands. After the war, Kith-Kanan decided to leave for the western lands, followed by his closest friends.
Kith-Kanan founded the Qualinesti realm based on the premise of freedom and equality, naming himself the Speaker of the Suns, founding a Tower of the Sun in the capital city of Qualinesti, Qualinost, however, was later destroyed, forcing them to begin another journey to another new land alongside the Qualinesti.
-Abanassinia
abanasinia.gif

It's a nation formed by the barbarians in the north of qualinesti, dwarves of Thorbardin and humans of Tarsis. If I tell you truth this nation I have created to fill a zone of the map
-Silvanesti:In the beginning of time the original elves, fearing the mountains where the evil ogres lived and the plains where the short tempered humans were settling, decided to adopt the woods as home. After battling the evil dragons with the help of the gods of magic, the realm of Silvanesti was founded and named for Silvanos, the first leader of the elves. As time developed, the Silvanesti elves became more secluded, stopping contact with the other races. Their society divided into different castes, creating a social discrimination that ultimately led to the division of their realm into the Silvanesti and the Qualinesti elves. In ancient age, the Silvanesti elves were known to have telepathic powers, reserved for the royal household to communicate with subordinates through Silvanesti. After the Cataclysm its use diminished. By the time the War of the Lance began, the use was restricted to the royal household itself, and disappeared soon after the war.
-Solamnia
solamnia.gif

Solamnia is a human nation in northwestern Ansalon. the Solamnic Knights are a chivalric order, a "brotherhood forged when Krynn was young". The Solamnic Order is dedicated to the forces of light and live by a strict code of honor. The Knights of Solamnia are aligned as Lawful Good. The Knighthood is divided into three suborders of increasing rank: the Orders of the Crown, Sword, and Rose. The Oath of the Knights of Solamnia is Est Sularus Oth Mithas (My Honor Is My Life).
-Ergoth: Three islands located west of Ansalon that was created when the Cataclysm tore Ergoth in two and formed Isle of Sancrist.
-Dragonarmies:The Dragonarmies were the collective five armies of Takhisis, that were raised during the Age of Despair and launched their offensive across Ansalon, to conquer the land in the name of the Dark Queen. The five armies were filled with Chromatic Dragons, Draconians, Goblins, Hobgoblins, Humans, kobolds, Minotaurs, Ogres, and all manner of other evil humanoids. Each of the armies was led by a powerful Dragon Highlord, who was aided by one or more Dragon Highmasters. There was an army for each of the chromatic dragon types: red, green, white, blue and black. The dragonarmies were led by the warlord Duulket Ariakas, who ultimately served Takhisis.
-Blood Sea Isles: Blood Sea Isles are located off the northeastern coast of Ansalon. They were formed from the lands of the Empire of Istar, including Falthana, Gather, Midrath, and Seldjuk. Almost everyone that lives in the Isles is a mariner of some sort, from the smallest fisherman to the mightiest admirals of the Minotaur Empire. The people make a living ranging from fishing and hauling cargo to being a privateer and making war. The Kyrie can be found living deep in the mountains of Mithas, Karthay, and Kothas.
-Goodlund: A region in the east of Ansalon that was turned into the Desolation during the Age of Mortals. Goodlund was created following the Cataclysm that struck Krynn. The lands that formed Goodlund were formerly the nations of Balifor and Dravinaar. These lands are now comprised of the Elian Isles, the Hollowlands, Kendermore, the Laughing Land, Northern Dairly Plains, Southern Dairly Plains, and the Misty Isle.

YES YES YES YES YES..
Will Raistlin be in it?

 of course. And Tanis, Flint, Sturm,...

Seeing that map almost brought a tear to my eye. I used to have 50 of the dragonlance books, always much preferred them to Forgotten Realms. I may be able to contribute some music to the mod, but I am very busy now and it would be down the road a little bit. Also feel free to consult me, it's been a long time but my memory could probably be easily refreshed, I used to be a walking encyclopedia of this ****.

[edit] Also, I can make scenes for you. I have been working on some practice scenes because I was actually thinking of starting a DL mod. I began learning some module system basics, I was going to attempt a Palanthas scene

I only read the dragonsummer series or whatever its called, but i imagined the solamnian knights (?) to look slightly like this:

 OMG I love Dragonlance! I have read like all their books. I actually was going to start a dragonlance mod a while back, but I couldn't make a map or draconians soo... Raistlin is definitely my favourite character, and kender are funny
Although I am already working on another mod (Giants vs Dwarves) I would love to help you, I have much more experience now expecially with new races and skeletons etc.
Also I could help you with the magic (I am recently working with it in my mod also).
Get back to me!

A little closer to the mark:

Lord Soth is a fallen Solamnic knight, but his armor is still pretty much Solamnic, and I'm pretty sure the female is a Knight as well. Good book as I remember.

Thanks a lot for the images, they help a lot because there is a few of them in the web. I think that I have finished my first version of the minotaur head:

What do you think about the zone of Abanassinia? I have too many villages there and I dont know what town put there to govern them. I thought in Solace but it is a very little village in the saga and I dont see it like a town

Oh, sorry, my english is not good enough and I didnt understand that
Get back to me!
as a request to join the team

Well I can't imagine a human turning into a minotaur. By the way, those minotaurs are 1.2x the size of humans, I can make creatures of any size for you really..

As I recall there was a larger city near Solace called Haven, I think I've got that right.
I concur. I don't remember reading much about it in the books, but the 'fellowship' initially planned to take the crystal staff there to be checked out by some wise council or other...
