Hello everyone.

I've got a question. One of my favorite factions are Rhodoks. not a long while ago I started playing a new game, and now i am a vassal of the kingdom of rhodoks. It is approximatly may 15. Rhodoks have ended war long ago with sarranids, and and a little time before now they ended war with swadians. Question is, how can i get my kingdom start a war with another faction? I haven't conquered a castle yet, and my army and money is falling. no war, no money, no morale, no fun. So please help me out!!! i dont want to wait until my kings starts a war. too long. please answer my question. (btw i am playing the latest Diplomacy mod)

Cut down some bandits/raiders and bears 'oh my!' and deserters. You'll get some nice loot and such to help pay for things, and it'll keep your team morale up. At he very least. Maybe if you're lucky, you'll get an opportunity to spark a conflict between two bordering realms and then you'll get your war, albeit not necessarily between your realm and another, but it would at least be easy fresh land to swipe from the mutual enemies.

If there's a particular realm you dislike, you can always attack one of their vassals, quick war initiating there. kings like men who take the initiative, though they will have some choice words for those who mess up their business.

You can either attack a vassal or one of the farmers/caravans of the Faction you want war with,I suggest the Swadians.

Or go to the guild masters in Jelkala, Veluca or anywhere and start a business. Two or three will easily pay for your army.

once you attack a vassal or caravan of another kingdom that faction will dislike you and you can raid their villages til your bloodthirsty little heart is content, though your king may not like it much.... but who cares what he thinks anyway!

If I were you, I would seize this opportunity and start a trade with my money, and all side-business like bandit hunting, working for guild masters etc.

And If you are playing Diplomacy mod, you can suggest King Graveth to start a war with your desired faction.

but I thought that when you attack caravans and vilalgers of another faction, you will spoil the releationship only of yourself not your kingdom.

My king is a pain in the ass, and doesn't support my choices.

tell him to eat dirt and then go and attack somebody, just find a roaming Lord of a [potential] enemy faction and tell him about your demands! After that, your King will be pissed, but he's an ass, so the status quo only changes in your favor, and he'll have to get off his indecisive ass and clean up your mess.

I think it's called 'forcing one's hand'

yes raiding caravan modify only your rep but it also create a border incident and sooner or later the faction you attacked might declare war on your faction. Also king never approve this behaviour because they should be the one to wage war not their vassal.

Yes... but defeating enemy Lord will 100% start war Caravans and Villages are nothing.

I found that the best way to start a war is to set a chihuahua loose on the enemy king while he's sleeping
