When your horse is crippled in a fight, and it goes lame, is it supposed to heal eventually? Mine do, and I'm not sure if that's correct or not.

yep, horses are supposed to heal over time. although if they lose the spirited or heavy prefix if they had them before.

Note that a swayback horse that is crippled and becomes lame loses its swayback penalty when it heals.
