Voulgiers switching to one-handed swords.

Is there anything I can do to prevent my Voulgiers from switching to a one-handed sword instead of their two-handers in Captain mode?

Have you tried shouting at your monitor and pressing the F-keys at random?

You could try prayer, but I highly doubt God cares what your Voulgiers do with their two-handers in Captain mode.

For some actual useful information. No you cannot, we can't control what weapons they use except for switching from melee or ranged. Its a requested feature though I think, maybe we'll get it one day.

Flex tape their gauntlets to the voulgiers, that will prevent their tiny brains to committing such action. Hope this helps

Yes, you swap them in for Sergeants with Maces.

No. I frankly don´t even understand why they have a short sword at all. I get the pikes and stuff as they serve the particular purpose of dealing with cav, but a short sword that´s worse in infantry fights seems kind of strange.
