Why do so many people like Custom Settlements? Just wondering...

it has a 'newly settled land' feel to it, kingdoms develop. they develop rather too slow however. and it has a number of issues in regard to gameplay. but when these are fixed its going to be a great mod.

He seems like the kind of guy who can actually do something amazing.

Have you played WWII China Battlefield lately?

Eagle and the radiant cross. Lots of factions and lots of variation accross factions when it comes to battlefield tactics. Not to mention the factions all look great! Theres alot of great mods out there but when I sat down and thought about it...tEatRC came out on top.

And btw, THANKS MODDERS! Your work is appreciated! I've played all but a couple of the mods up top and really they all win in the end, lots of work went into them and all for free to the community! I switch from mod to mod alot depending on my mood or current interest so I'm glad theres such a large amount of mods to choose from.

Yes, China Battlefield is very good,still unfinished,but offers so much,about 4 times more than most finished mods,but,the political theme as you said it,and the setting (who would want to play as a Chinese or Japanese solider,when here,in Europe, we had the British,Americans,French,Russians,Germans,Italians and a bunch of armies more... Change the setting,and I'd wager,many people will come to like the mod... (I would love to play as a Serbian Royal Guardsman BTW  ) Add tanks and airplanes too!

Ditto that.  The time and effort put into a mod that just vanishes instantly is sad.  All these people contribute greatly.

Hopefully the release of Warband will show more interest in these mods!
