Dont think that will work, otherwise someone would have done it already...But worth a look atleast.

itp_type_musket and itp_type_crossbow both seem to use the exact same animations, I can't figure out how to make them use different ones. I really need to because i still need muzzle loading pistols for some units.

Und zis is vat would be used by za Jeagers. M 1851 Zündnadelgewehr Where are the M1841 would be use regularly, but you know this already, probably, possibly o3o

Different units were using different ones, the 41, 62, 65 and 51. the 62 was the most common though.

Some more screenshots of the map for y'all.

Can't wait for the map to be finished.

Small update, i've been working on non visual stuff mostly.

Prussian Hussar. Hussars have a carbine now so they're sort of like dragoons but they will be balanced to the dragoons.

I didn't feel like making a proper image, this is the Remington Rolling block rifle and the double barreled shotgun, both used by they French partisans. Yes it's the same shotgun from AZW but i made it longer.

Small update, this is the Prussian Cuirassier which won the poll. It's the final unit i'll be making until after closed alpha, so next i have to work on code.

You've chosen the wrong side if you want to call foppish sorts, the Prussian force is far too sensible and organised for anything like that.

The Prussian Army possesses a state...

As much as I love a good putting-in-place, the word 'musketry' can refer to the massed fire of any small arms, not just muskets.

Docm has a point, in addition to which muskets became, at some point a version of a rifle (like the Winchester) a longer long gun., after the flintlock pattern was long abandoned.

The US Army's "School of Musketry" was founded in 1907 to improve accuracy and training techniques with the Springfield 1903 bolt-action rifle.

You may want to use "marksmanship" to avoid confusion in conversation...

Fair enough but i think he still meant muskets.
No, i didn't.

Yes, i probably should have used that.

The rest of their army perhaps. I wouldn't call heavy cavalry sensible though.

The Prussian command made plenty of mistakes as well. But of course the French were never able to take advantage of this due to their own incompetence.
