Voice commands; simulating keystrokes - DirectInput?

I recently downloaded the program VR Commander to be able to use voice commands to command my troops in battle.

The idea is that I can shout things like "Infantry follow me" to my microphone, and that the program simulates the keystrokes "2, F2" in the game.

The program VR Commander seems to work fine, but M&B does not respond/recognizes those simulated keystrokes for some reason. I also tried doing this in windowed mode, but still Mount & Blade gives no response.

Has anyone any idea why Mount & Blade is not reacting?

Thanks in advance!

EDIT: Is it right that M&B uses DirectInput to read keystrokes?

I did some research and it's probably because M&B reads DirectInput for it's keystrokes...

So I guess to get this to work, a keypress simulator is needed that uses DirectInput, so I can couple it to VR Commander.

EDIT: It seems they do not exist... I only can find pieces of scripts in languages I do not master with examples how it can be done. It's just crazy there is no application to be found that can do this:S

never heard of the program before, i've heard of a game using it, would be pretty fun, might feel like a bit of an idiot if someone walked in the room and i was there shouting, hold ground, hold ground, attttttack at the top of my voice, not sure how the program works though, good idea though

Yeah it would be so cool... It's not gonna happen though.
