Ok, I searched this topic first and found nothing to match or very outdated, so here it goes;
I would like to actually see and be able to go into new constructions I can start in my villages. If I build a school or Mill for them there should be an actual building appearing in that village, that should not be too hard to do and for the inside of the mill there is already a template like when you own one in a city.
Most of all though when you build a Mansion in a fief, you should be able to enter it to store gear there and garrison troops there if you like. That in turn should have an effect on raids being less likely to succeed! I really would like to see something like a small Keep or round tower appear in a village when you build the Mansion option!
