Before I start, yes, I have used the search function, and was advised to not post in the thread that had already been made about a similar suggestion.
Isn't it a little silly that all the villagers in Calradia dress the same, and look the same? The idea I propose, is that villagers dress, and look like they are from their respective faction/region. This would work similar to the architecture of towns of villages.
For example:
In a Sarranid Sultanate village, the architecture is flat-roofed, sand-stoned buildings, with many other features fitting with the Sarranids. But the villagers(mainly the wandering villagers) dress in an ordinary, typical European villager from the Middle Ages(which in my opinion is a look best suited for the Swadians). Wouldn't it be better if the villagers had robes, and clothes suited for a desert lifestyle?
The same could be said about other factions, like the Vaegir, who could have villagers dressed in fur, and warm clothing.
There is also the option of this opening up new choices for mercenaries, but that's not what this topic is for.
Any opinions on this proposal?
