First; thank you ever so much for taking the time out of your schedule//life//shingading to record, edit and upload this video. It is a true mark of player-fidelity and we thank you all the more for it.
What server and time did you choose to record the footage? I must admit to the [Einherjar] server having been quiet for the past two weeks, the number of players does drop and rise much like the ocean tide. Typically; we have over 30 players a night. Promotion for the mod is difficult, I'm not keen on ramming it down people's throats - rather that they check it out themselves. Much of it also relies on Einherjar & Shielding members physically being on the server. Unfortunately, due to fine weather (and the release of damn Portal 2!), we're a little distracted.
You might want to kick up a PM with Leofwine whom is heading up our new
Saturday Night Siege Night! effort. Siege has had quite a lot of changes in Vikingr, compared to Native and is rather popular. It should be a pretty decent time to see the game under action with more players. Beyond that, I hope that you will stick it through and await for the playerbase to rise again somewhat. We've had
a lot of epic times in the mod, we have a very dedicated playerbase and some good times - many more to come.
As of now; we've hosted two historical events based on the
Battle of Fulford and the
Battle of Stamford Bridge.

The Daddy of these events will be that holy day of English history -
Hastings. Before we host that event, everything in the mod must be perfect.
However for the time being, you will have to endure the Saturday Siege and hope to also catch the server on other days for more numbers.
Also a note; we failed with the reticule to remove it. Well, we did remove it but it's relatively easy for experienced modders to place the file back in. Unfortunately, TaleWorlds have shafted us on that one. There's also taunting (
Q), shield-taunting (
CTRL + Q), horns for the leader classes (
H) and other niceties with the banner-carriers.
C functions as crouch. Anywho; keep in touch man, we'll sort something out for the-more-player-thang and all will be good.

Edit: Also forgot, we have a large match coming up this Saturday in Vikingr against another group. Would ye' be interested in turning out?
