It's okay the issue was that it was banned in his country (Portugal).

However he has a new issue, it's asking for a serial key... I think the Warband one, but two things; 1) I have never been asked for a serial key for Víkingr 2) the Warband serial key doesn't actually fit.

I guess it's because he has to convert his Steam key or something. I heard about that a long time ago. People seem to have found a solution, now I can't really remember what it was.

Filefront doesn't work for many countries and I think ModDB's download is down for a day now, it says there's no available mirror.

I cannot download anything, bah.

For the mod itself it would be nice having some viable download links...

Hello,

Is it possible to use this with steam? I tried adding the launcher as a game to steam but the overlay does not seem to work.

I don't really see why it was made to be independent of the primary warband launcher.

The mod uses an earlier version of Warband and WSE. There's a few guides to Steam lying around, I can't say which is better since I have a non-Steam version.

Hmm.. I see. Somehow it's been corrupted. Weird, I've used that site before for people who were restricted from other sites D:

EDIT: Please remove the link from the quote as well. Thanks. Ah alright. It's a bit tricky. If you uncheck the one that says "Use Download Accelerator" underneath the countdown (just like Makart did above), you get the proper download. It's a bit ****, but still better than nothing.

The D:\Vikingr_full_install.exe.part file cannot be saved, because it's impossible to read the source file.

You should try again later or contact the server administrator.


And I've unchecked this "Use Download Accelerator" option.

I've got no idea what's wrong for you. Have you tried the other download options? This one is ONLY for people who are restricted from GameFront. Hopefully we'll get a couple of more reliable options up very soon.

It works perfectly. I've played some rounds today. Rus swords are way too expensive. Before patch I was able to buy good sword as a Rus when the round started. Now Rus swords are two times too expensive. Please make the price of Rus swords like before this patch. Normans have goods swords with good price. And where is my epic Rus scimitar?

Did you think you could buy a fancy sword on the very first of your raiding days? Use your head man. The Normans had a culture far more advanced than the Rus' in 1066 and so mixed quality swords were available for the men-at-arms of wealthier lords.
