Viking Conquest 2.036 [beta]

Viking Conquest Reforged Edition 2.036 is now in beta on Steam!

While 2.032 was in beta, the team at Brytenwalda have been hard at work making improvements for a new version. If you try it out, let us know how you get along with it.

Changes since 2.032

- properly indicate all members of player's team in minimap (not just player party)
- redo Doccinga coastal assault so that Danish allies show on minimap as allies
- fix short sword stats
- position Ashdown ruins correctly
- disallow complaining when there is no ship crew to complain
- attempt fix of hof quest strings
- have Drywei's and Helgi's skills match their description
- fix kingdom/MP culture shields

Instructions for opting into the beta on Steam:
(Remember that you can also use your Warband Key in Steam if you bought your game directly from Taleworlds)

    In the Steam Library, right click "Mount & Blade Warband" and select "Properties"
    In the window that opens, navigate to the "BETAS" tab
    In the "BETAS" tab, where it reads "Enter beta access code to unlock private betas:", enter the code betapassword exactly as shown
    Click "CHECK CODE" and upon confirmation that the beta has been successfully opted into, select "beta" from the dropdown menu on the same screen
    Close the window and allow the game to update
    The Reforged Edition 2.025 beta will now be activated when you play Viking Conquest

Just in case anyone's wondering, it seems this note translates to..

Dwywei gaining:

+2 Path-finding

that is how it works. Players report bugs/issues/balance inconsistencies/..., devs fix them, new patch is released, game gets even better
