View list of cities and characters in game

In Warband, there was a master list of all cities/towns/villages, characters, and factions that you could view with relevant information (which faction, last known location, etc). I miss that feature. My apologies if it already exists but I haven't been able to find it in game.

The Encyclopedia? Press N on the campaign map or in settlements, click on it when hyperlinked in conversations, right-click the unit thumbnail on the party page or click on hyperlinks in your journal.

In conversations you can also click on non-generic names to bring up their page, most of the time.

Why is there no button on the bottom left menu of the map, took me ages to realise it existed.

Got it, thanks! I agree with armodilo though, there should be a button for it or at least it should be easier to find.
