Because of the huge request by members here on the forum, I've created 2 kinds of smoke particles and a sound fix. Also it's faster than modifing it yourself!

How to use?
Simply paste the particle_systems.txt file into your Age of Blackpowder folder. (also works with Add-On Packs and Expansions of AoB!)

What is it?
It reduces the time that the smoke lasts in the game and also reduces the lag it creates.

LOW QUALITY SMOKE PATCH (the smoke lasts 2 seconds)

NEW! Sound Fix for Age of Blackpowder and its expansions/add-ons!

What is it?
It fixes the musket sound problem that makes the game crash. I based this fix on the More Metal Sound mod (excellent sound mod, thank you Checkmaty!), which is very stable. There are less musket sounds, but I made a selection of the best one's!

How to use?
Step 1: Delete the Sounds folder inside your Age of Blackpowder or any other add-on.
Step 2: Delete the sound.txt file.
Step 3: Place the Sounds folder and sound.txt file of this fix inside your Age of Blackpowder or add-on folder!
Step 4: Enjoy!

i'm downloading medium right now.
I was gonna do something of the sort myself to make the smoke less thick(cept i was gonna increase the darkness of the alpha channel...once i found the bloody texture) but this is one hell of a good alternative.

Yeah, people who have Vista can use this fix, I think! They reported the most crashes because of the musket sounds...

This is great helps soo much i was having 250-300 people battle with out this and i had to look at the sky to make things go fast but not i have 300 on the field and no lagg DDD Great little tweak TYVM
