Please help me... I have the following problem.
I play the full version of mount&blade and I like it, but during my last game I entered a battle and was faced with a jumbled screen, from which the program refused to do anything. I quit and restarted but never reached the game screen. I got the same jumbled graphics.
I then rebooted and retried, with the same problem. After that I de-installed Mount&blade and reinstalled it. Now here's the thing... It still remembered I had entered my serial code and I got the same jumbled graphics.
I deinstalled again, removed the install file, downloaded it again, installed it in a different directory as the original one just to be sure and ran the game, but same problem. I then removed everything that had to do woth the game, emptied the bin, checked the software configuration screen to see wether it was really gone and tried again, but same problem... The game seems to remember I once installed it and no matter what I do, it will, when installed, think it is the full version of the game before I enter the code and crash in the same mass of jumbled graphics that started it all.
Does anybody have any idea what to do? By the way, I run windows XP, and as far as I can remember I was doing nothing special in the game when it crashed, just running down some scouts....
