Great job indeed beloved dev-team =)

One thing about the installer though, I do not know if I am plain stupid, but it took me 20 minutes to install the game correctly.
This was my problem:

When asked where to install the mod, the installer proposed C:Modules, which is obviously wrong. Since I have the steam version of the game, I picked
C:razz:rograms\Steam\.....\Warband\Modules instead. The installer did its work and "sucessfully" installed the mod (at least it said so). But when starting up warband,
there was no option called Floris 2.5 or something like that.

After said 20 minutes of searching, I found the problem:
When picking the above mentioned installtion path, which works with every other mod, the installer creates a modules folder within the modules folder preventing me from starting the game...
The path then looks like this:
C:razz:rograms\Steam\.....\Warband\Modules\Modules\Floris

Awesome, thanks guys! I know what I will be doing all day tomorrow since university is closed by snow!

My university has laughably slow download speeds (188kbps) so it's slowly chugging away. What's worse, is that it got to 400mb on the Rapidshare link before getting interrupted and saying something about parameters, so I've had to start all over again.

Use the pirate bay torrent, it will give you max speed by now and you can stop/disrupt/pause the download whenever you want and however many times you want. You can start at uni, pause while going home and resume when home.

I'd love to, but I live in University Halls and they block p2p connections - it means I can't even go online with Steam.

It's finished now anyway. Took 4 hours, but I got there.

Thanks for hard work. I really appreciate it that great mods like these are still developed and maintained for warband

btw: I used rapidshare to download it, 5.3mb/s incoming

Playing it now. Just one thing though, is it just me or do enemies attack faster? Combat speed is on normal but I swear these guys swing a 2H weapon faster than I can swing my 1H one. Other than that, enjoying it.

Can't wait to try your mod. It looks amazing.

Such mountains are weird in Holland

Just a heads up MegaUpload has been taken down by the FBI, so you can remove the link to that broken mirror.

Expanded. Enjoy the mod for all that it's worth.

...After adjusting some settings, of course.

I've played the mod a fair bit now, and I can safely say that I love it. Thank you for all of your hard work.

I guess because I've not played this mod for very long, but I've noticed large groups of bandits and such on campaign. I've been playing as a soldier in the Swadian army and there have been two very large groups of bandit armies roaming around. One army is around 300 - 400 men strong consisting of forest bandits being lead by some named npc (can't think of his name atm) and the second bandit army consists of 300 + mountain bandits also being lead by a named npc. While this is somewhat cool feature it does make navigating / protecting the area somewhat of a challenge. Especially when the army you fight for gets owned due to 300 + arrows at a time barraging you in a fight.

Are these bandit armies common and if so can I expect them to just keep getting larger? I guess it wouldn't be so bad if I controlled a army to combat them but when you have to rely on your Lord/AI well then...

We will tweak the bandit armies in the future. For now you will have to live with them - potentially even larger or more numerous than what you have seen so far.

The bandit armies are *fantastic*, after I become king I usually go with about 70 of the third tier vaegir archers and kill 100-300 of them (without a single casualty, the forest bandits especially get butchered easilly like this) and go back home with around 200 high lvl liberated prisoners in my army.

Fantastic way to boost your arm, amazing way to get a cool manhunter force.

I have been playing "2.5 beta 2" for few weeks. Is this release savegame compatible with it?
I used the expanded troop tree. What kinds of changes have been made between 2.5b2 and 2.5?

No it isn't compatible.

Lots and lots of bugfixes. Some small tweaks to features, particularly to Windy's tournaments.
