does the current download work for version 1.158 and if it does not when will it be released?

Current version works from 1.153 onwards as far as I can tell, no ETA for the next version, also no need to make a new thread, we have a F.A.Q. thread with the answer to this particular question:

Q: Which version of Warband do I need ?
A: Latest one (1.15 is advised although Singleplayer might work with patch 1.143+ and Multiplayer with 1.153+ but I don't recommend using these old versions.
