What are we?
The Varyags are a group of northern mercenaries, raiders and warriors, primarily hailing from Sturgia, though Vlandians and Battanians are not unknown among their ranks. Some Varyags were employed by the Empire as a prominent force upon the battlefield and as bodyguards of the Emperor. This company is one such, having long served the Empire, primarily in Lycaron, now capital of the Empire.
Who are we?
The founding members of the Varyags of Lycaron all come from the Warband clan The Vikings of Niflheim.
Niflheim used to be an active and competitive clan that over time transformed into more of a gaming community. Now, with Bannerlord's release, we have decided to come back together to form a clan and community and to enjoy the game together. We can therefore boast a solid roster of highly experienced players who enjoy playing the game whilst also sharing a laugh.
Our long term goal is to become a competitive clan on the Bannerlord scene, and we're already working towards that goal by playing Skirmish as often as we find the time.
