Dunno if its a feature, but playing zerrkinians with void relligion i can upgrade my highest tier nobles (the ones that can go on artifact hunt), using marshall and the named* troop to "noble zealots" and those to night stalkers without the whole joining the temple screen and 200 denars.
 
Omg, I just know there are different colours for different bugs.  :oops: Since I'm using a kind of eye-protecting browser colour. Maybe you want to add a sentence in this thread.

Fixed in patch B. Note that all upgrades fixes only work for games started with the patch.
 
I have resolved my save crash (Game crash in SOD 4.5 some time when I save ...) ... So I have update my visual C ++ library and my directX 9 ... the game work perfectly now  :mrgreen: . (Sorry for my bad English)
 
Added the best advice for any windows user : make sure your .dll are correct (according to technical forums for a lot of programs a lot of runtime errors come from c++ library problems = changes some programs or virus have made in windows core dll files).
 
Fixed #17.  It is in the PM I sent you.  I'll let you decide when to release the new resource files (not complete with all lods but many more) with your next round of code fixes.  These are definately not save game compatible.

I think we can wait some days to finish to fix the remaining bugs, in case other fixes break compatibility too it would be sad to release two versions forcing to restart.

 
Twan: I wouldn't mind too much about this, after all most people don't mind to restart (and since you need the community to find bugs, why not release it). In addition, people who wan't to continue the campaign, don't need to update.

Personally Im with Twan on this one, adding thrust damage to great hammer does not warrant a new release :wink:
Though your updater might be good for this, add any changes to it so those wanting to stay on the bleeding edge can use it to always have the latest changes. Those who dont use either the normal patches or update only when they are released.
 
Cycloheaxe also changed a lot models to increase performances. But the question is more : out of very minor issues and engine related probably unfixable things there are only a dozen or so important bugs remaining (bugs in part of the code written by people who didn't have time to make fixes recently but may find it this week end, or I'll perhaps try to fix them as I have more time).  Some of these fixes may break compatibility ; releasing a patch for items today and another in the beginning of next week for the other fixes,  would make things messy, with bug reports for 4 different versions (some continuing games from v4.53 with v4.55, some v4.55B games, some v4.55C with textures, some v4.55D with new fixes if not compatible, etc...  :neutral: ).

So I think it's better to just release one last beta version (remaining fixes + first wave of new models) somewhere in coming week.

Then once this version is tested, Cyclo add the second wave of remade models (another re-breaking compatibility), we add fixes for the new bugs introduced by the fixes (as usual :wink: ) and we can call it SoD v4.6 Gold (no longer Beta) I think.
 
I cannot save my game with last 4.55B hotfix (24/02/2010) ... I have this message in red when I save : "Error : Unable to save game"
 
I sent out some Zerrikanian Dvors to retrieve a royal artifact.

Unfortunately, I did not have room in my party when they came back.

They went to my town of Praven, except... instead of the 10-or-so I sent out, there are... 49.

Also, I suggest that if the player does not have room in their party, the message saying they came back also says which garrison they went to.

I did more than add thrust damage to great hammer.  I added somewhere between 70 and 90 new lods to exsiting models.  Lods are low density models view at far distance and have the effect of increasing performance (hopefully less crashes and better FPS).  I still have a lot more models I want to work on but I did the major ones (horses) and tons of zerrikanian items. 

In addition, I tweaked the mercenary guilds to be more balanced and increased musket performance of engineers. 

I am curious to see how the community responds with just the lods I added.  If it is positive, then adding more will only increase performance.  I now have some help from Solosphere (still looking for more modeler help) and plan to do every item.  However, I can wait a few days, my game is already running much better :smile:

In the mean time, I'll try to add as many new lods as possible. 

 
Found a new bug. I'm on day 260 or so, and notice my Castle that was collecting Nobles is no longer. The Castle has belonged to one of my Lords for a while but Nobles were still showing up. I asked the Marshall about where to assign new Nobles and he said something like "We don't have the proper chapels in any fiefs". But I have probably 4-5 Knight Chapters and Temples etc...

Edit- I just lost a castle and retook it (so that it was mine again rather than one of my Lords) and now the Marshall says Nobles will gather here. I guess I was wrong in that Castles owned by your Lords will can still gather Nobles. I guess I'll stop giving all my Castles away  :mrgreen:

They still contribute to the daily total, but you need somewhere of your own for them to gather.
I think if you have no fief left they gather in your party but I haven't tried it.
 
When u have a party of like 350 men, ur tracks say ur only 150 not big bug but hey, worth telling.

Has kingdom of Swadia made peace with another kingdom when this message was displayed (meaning it's just a display problem) or are its wars unchanged ?

Edit : found the bug, will be fixed in next patch.
 
I keep getting an error message that says (paraphrased "Debug: faith+taxes < 0"  It started after I enacted some policies that lower taxes for villages.  My village tax rate is currently 50%.
 
In my king's edicts menu , i had enacted several laws and at one time i was just checking it to see the details on my clergy relations and the rest of the data displayed there.When i clicked to leave that screen my "Royal supremacy" edict just disapeared!I did not get the losses for dismissing it but it was not there.

So i went and re-enacted it because i needed some of its bonuses.I lost some relations with clergy from enacting it and now my relations with the clergy were decreasing each week , even though it should be increasing by 2 , considering i had theocracy , tithe from towns and some other such boosts to my weekly relations.

Not knowing how to get it positive again i looked for some other laws and saw that i could enact "Theocracy" again even though it was already in use.I did and then i had 2 theocracies in my edicts.My relations then started to go up again by 1 point.At some point i checked again to review the stats there and pressing the button to leave made the first one of my theocracies disapear.Again no penalties for canceling that law.So now i go up by one point with the clergy , when counting everything up i should earn 2.

Sorry about the long and possibly tiring description but i wanted to be as accurate as i could.

Another one...when i talk to my strategy advisor about the invasion days , sometimes i get a negative day , like the invasion should have started already but no legion anywhere.I am well over day 340.
