(V0.701&0.702) Download Problem

After not checking the site for a while, I decided today to look for updates, and happily I found that version 0.701 was out. After trying to download it on IE and Firefox I came here to see if anyone else had a problem aswell, and found people talking about V 0.702. I took a screen shot with the date and error message as proof, and I am asking anyone for help. I would really like to be able to enjoy the new version with the rest of you.

Here is the screenshot and error message(on firefox), IE just came up as page not found.

The first like worked fine, as did the program; but, when I ran the program in the second link my computer crashed.

That second file is the replacement mount&blade.exe that goes in your mount&blade folder and over-writes the old .exe.

It updates your version to 0.702 from 0.701.

When I d/l'd 0.702 I copied to my backup folders and got a blank icon, which I found strange, afterwards I followed instructions to replace the .exe file in the main M&B directory and the icon with the mounted knght was replaced by the blank one. Then I clicked run and a black window appeared for a second and that was it. I tried this several times, even from Narcissus' link, but got the same results. Don't understand why it isn't working.

I'm not sure why you are getting that, Lancer.

It almost sounds like you got a corrupted file from the download, but I'm not sure.

As you said Narcissus. It must have been a corrupted file during the d/l. I just tried your link for a second time and it worked perfectly.

Rather than try to activate it at http://act.taleworlds.com/ ... would you try http://act.taleworlds.net/ and see if it connects?
