(v0.632) Computer Reboots during Startup Menu

Whenever I click the M&B shortcut icon on my desktop, the menu with information and buttons (Update, Play, etc.) comes up normally but about 5 seconds later, my entire computer gets rebooted. I tested it out in a couple different ways to see if anything different would happen.

The first test was to bring up the menu after clicking shortcut and just sit there, my computer rebooted roughly 5 seconds later.

The second test was to bring up the menu after clicking shortcut and click the play button as quickly as possible. The menu closed and a mini window with File toolbar and white screen appeared before the computer rebooted yet again...roughly 5 seconds after the menu came up.

I don't know which system specs will be asked for so I'll hold off on those until they're specifically asked for.

OS would be useful.

I assume the game was working fine before?

So the big question would be what have you changed since it last worked?

If your using XP, go into the system properties, automatic recovery thing and turn off restart on error. That way you should get a blue screen message which will hopefully indicate where the problem lies.

Service Pack 2

And no, I've never played this game before. I found it only two or so hours before I made this topic. It never worked to begin with.

[Edit] That last part that you suggest that I do, do you mean...
Control Panel --> System --> Advanced Tab --> Startup & Recovery Settings --> Uncheck "Automatically restart" under System failure

If so, that didn't do anything. The launch/startup menu still rebooted my computer about 5 seconds after appearing and no blue screen appeared.

Sorry to double-post but I really would like some more feedback if possible. As I stated before, I don't know which specific system specs would be needed to determine the problem so until someone asks in a post for specific ones, I'll hold off until then.

Also, would you recommend that this thread remain here or be moved over to Customer Support sub-forum? I saw some topics over there that much more matched my problem than the in-game problems that seem to make up the majority of the bug reports forum. If a mod could do this for me, if it is deemed better than keeping the thread here, that'd be much appreciated.

Update: V0.700 also reboots 5 seconds after the Launch Menu comes up

Could a Moderator please do a couple of things for me?
A) Change Topic title to reflect that this has occured in both V0.632 and V0.700
B) Move this to Customer Support sub forum. I'm not sure if it would fit there or not since I haven't bought the full verison of the game yet but I skimmed over the problems people were posting there a couple days ago and found that my problem seemed to fit more amongst those than the mainly in-game bugs people report here.
