I'm sure that this must have been reported before, but, I can't seem to find where. I customarily sell all my loot to Dunga, that 1st merchant in Zendar (yes I am that lazy! )
However, he now has a full inventory and I can't sell him any more gear, without buying something! Not a big problem, but, anyway just a little bug report.

I s'pose it's not really a bug. If you cn no longer sell stuff to Dunga, move over to Rabugti or prescan or go to a different city.

I'd say it's a feature, but it doesn't really serve any purpose as far as i can see.

It is not a bug. His inventory and money is limited. But there is a trick (actually it is a feature too, not a real trick) to this. You can rest in town (or walk around) for a full day or two, and he'll get restocked, with his "new" inventory and money.

It seems a bit odd that he owns an entire shop and still runs out of space when I can carry 3 lances, 5 swords, 6 axes, 4 shields and enough food to feed a small army in my back pocket.
I have never played another game where the shopkeeper runs out of space, it feels like a bug to me. If it is a feature then it is a bad feature and should be removed as soon as possible so that we can go back to adventuring instead of walking round three or four shops like a bad afternoon at the Bullring.

Well, they usually have alot of place. But consider it this way, their main speciality is not trading war raids. They just send and receive goods&money from caravans. So you may think that they dont have "space" for "us".

i find ti annoying not being able to throw away items when you are on the move. I think this certainly should be avidable.

Wood, ROFL!
I guess you could assume that at least some of your stuff is being carried by your horse, but, still

Incidentally, since we're on the topic (well not really but still) how bout being able to convert(?) your spare horses into a true baggage train that has inventory space where you can dump stuff (i.e. mules)

Nah, the merchant's just nasty to you and refuses to trade with you! hehe

It's particularly annoying when a day after unloading a stack of near worthless, tattered woolen caps and clubs - you come in with really good loot that you need to cash in for $ for that spanking-new shiny jousting lance and ALL the merchants are full of stuff. hehe

Hardly happens anyway. eventually their stock depletes or your missions take you to other towns.

also a bit of real world - merchant keeps buying from you but he's also got a good smith in the back churning out stuff

I've played several.

The inventory clears when the shopkeeper restocks though. It makes sense to me, I mean why would you continue to buy more stock from a supplier if you haven't shifted the old stock yet? Even if the stock is used weapons and armour. Given the grade of crap I keep selling from those river pirates its a wonder he doesn't just tell me to sod off

By the way, just visit the smithy traders and sell them. Usually two smithy+merchant inventory is enough. Unless you have alot of points in inv. management and never sell for a long time.
