(v 0.632) Game doesn't start properly

Problem: I double-click the Mount&Blade shortcut on my desktop, and nothing happens. I open Windows Task Manager and see that mount&blade.exe is running, but the client never opens on my screen. I can open multiple instances of mount&blade.exe, but the client will never be visible. Each instance does take up system resources, although I have seen it drop to 100 kb and stay.

Whenever this happens, I have to reboot my computer to get the game to open up properly. However, it will eventually happen again and I have to reboot once more.

I haven't figured out how to reproduce the problem, but I will let you know as soon as I find out.

I'm running Windows XP Home edition.

I had this same problem appear today. Never happened before, didn't do anything different that normal (that I can recall). After restarting everything works fine.

I have the same problem. I also use Windows XP Home Edition.

you dont have to re start just open it from the game folder that worked for me on xp home edition
