(v 0.623) Registered version crashes

M&B never once crashed on me when I was playing the demo version, but now that I've registered occasionally it crashes in the middle of a battle. It doesn't give me any kind of error message, it just shuts down the program and brings me back to my desktop. Does anything change in the way the program runs when you registert that might be doing makign the game crash and is there any way I can fix it?

It did the same for me as well. Turning permanent corpses off from the Options seems to have helped.

It must be a coincidence. There isn't really a difference between registered and unregistered versions that would cause such a thing.

Install an older version and see if that works?

Don't say "mount horses" that almost always crashes me after a minute.

I think I solved the problem, it doesn't seem to crash if I shut down my anti-virus program (I use AVG) but I really have no idea what the conflict between the two could be.

I think that may be a coincidence? I switched tonight from McAfee VirusScan v7 to BitDefender Standard v8 and have tried playing with the programs running and shut down. I still get the crashes to desktop every now and then.

Yeah the game gave me another crash to desktop just now, but it's much less frequent. I think it might have something to do with memory conflcicts possibly?
