Usless l00t really usless?

I got this minor question ..
I have noticed there are many items ingame (BV:Oil/Tools/some kind of food ingriëdents) and I have no clue what to do with them, I meen can I actualy smith or cook something? I think you can't but because I'm not sure about this I was wondering is all that stuff usless junk to sell for some cash or has it got any other purpose?

There was an old mod for an old version of MnB, I think. It's called "Craftmod". It lets you make stuff using different items. Try searching for it in the Repository.
