Useless whining about cheats and cheaters.

A friend of mine cheats at this game, not the usual "oh im losing, lets use the built in cheats to knock the rest out" type, but going completely overboard with 300+ knights and all stats maxed! I just don't understand it, he cheats at every game he plays!

seriously though, how do you enjoy a game minus all the fun?

I totally agree. What do I care? Well for example, everyone finds it irritating if a baby starts crying in the same bus with you. It just won't stop and the parents don't seem to care of other peoples feelings. That's how I feel when someone rapes the game like that. That's how annoying I think it is, and I can moan about it here at Taleworlds anytime I like.

I think what some people have trouble understanding is the mentality behind altering code to improve performance in the game.  Rather than being a last resort, which would be understandable, it seems to be the first choice for many PC gamers.  "Hey I just died.  Something must be wrong with the universe.  How can I alter the basic structure of the game to make it easier?"  This is a question that simply wouldn't occur to people like me and others who enjoy the feeling of actually mastering a game rather than manipulating its inner workings to make it easier and, quite honestly, when people start flaming the **** out of people who ask why others do it it comes of as equal parts shame and defensiveness.  Why so sensitive?  Why not just answer the freaking question he's asking?  Why is it fun for some people to cheat rather than actually get better at the game?  It's a fair question.

Cheating right out of the gate is lame.  Once you've put dozens or hundreds of hours into a game, cheat the ever living **** out of it.

Cheats can add longevity to a game, but really only after you've played quite a bit legitimately.

That's...not quite the same thing. People cheating is not harmful or irritating to you, in fact, you wont even know it happens unless you pry. So if you are annoyed at someone you know who cheats (whom i very much doubt would throw that in your face), you are either very touchy, very nosy, or both.
