Upgrading computer and hardware hash issues with serial key

I just want to check something. I'm thinking of upgrading my computer in the near future replacing many of the components inside and will have to reinstall M&B. I was wondering if my serial key will still work as the hardware hash (which i believe it is dependent upon) will/should change significantly?

If this is a problem would i be able to do a manual offline activation with my new hardware hash? It's been a while since i bought the game and have only installed in on the one computer.

You can install the game twice every two months. I'm not sure about if you reinstall it on the same hard drive, but it shouldn't be an issue for you if you have indeed only installed the game once anyway.

Don't worry Luthius if your key is autentic you have nothing to fear. I've had to reinstall the game twice since June and no problem.

ok cheers. im sure it will work on a new comp. ( which may be a long time in the coming ). It's all genuine serials and stuff so if theres a problem i'll let it be known until it's fixed

You can install it on 2 different computers every 2 months. i don't know exactly what you have to change for it to count as a new computer (but i would guess that it uses the cpu id number) so unless you upgrade your computer alot extremely often it shouldn't be a problem
