i just upgraded my computer new mobo hard drive and memory then transfered everything from peviouse hard drive to new one including my mount&blade and when i try to register the key all i get is activation denied!
well not exactly i didnt copy everything on my hard drive because most of it was crap just my main programs and games.and also when u register a game it puts files into other locations to activate it.
I tried wut u said and still i didnt work i even did tha manual activation and on tha site it said was. This serial number has reached its maximal number of activations. I have tha previous manual activation code from when i did it before but that didnt seem to work either.
on my previous computer i had reformatted it then registered it again but the computer had no harware changes. So i dont think that should have affected it.
Do you mean the one you upgraded? In that case it shouldn't affect the two computer limit.
Here's the "rules":
You can activate the game on two computers you own. After 60 days (starting from the first activation) your activation counter resets and you get two activations more.
You can activate the game unlimited times on the last computer you activated it on.
For example if you activated it on a laptop and after that activated it on a desktop, you could re-activate the game on the desktop computer as many times you need, but not on the laptop (except after the 60 days).
So, if the game doesn't want to activate you can either wait the remaining time until the activation counter resets or you can try sendin armagan an email explaining what has happened and ask him to reset the counter for you (remember to put you serial in the email).
Upgrading the mobo etc will alter the hardware hash the game gives you.
It thinks that the upgraded computer is a new computer.
Sounds like you'll need to wait till the activation counter resets, unless Armagan can do it for you.
