So it doesn't work. Unfortunately, I'm in the middle of a big change to get delete working properly, so it is going to take me a couple days to get a version up to support 0.710.

I think the only problem is that the brf parser I was using in the editor wasn't good enough to parse all the types. Now that all brfs are specified in module_info.txt it craps out trying to read them. (The new brflib should handle it fine, but I haven't ported over to using that yet.)

Theoretically, you could get it to work by removing all the load_resource lines from module_info.txt. But it is probably better to wait until I get it working official since I need to put up the script.txt support.

And don't use delete until the next version. I don't know how I thought that worked...

Edit: Nope, there are a few other things. Anyway, I'll have a version up in the next couple days.

Just an update. Work has me busy. I'm afraid the new version will be the weekend at the earliest...

it works for me as well. (304)

But I'm not doing heavy editting right now, just trying to get solid stuff in the game.

I think it works as long as you don't delete stuff. Just make a backup though, as after editing I could no longer play my personal mod (gives an error on startup).

I'd like to edit my character's skills, give my army specific items, and speed up certain attack animations (more specifically, the animations that deal with attacking consecutively in opposite directions). Would this editor allow me to do these things? Any tutorials out there? Thanks in advance.

The editor is not a save game editor. So you cannot open up a save and change your attributes.

The editor will allow you to change most attributes for troops, equipment, and well just about everything else. Some thing will take affect immediately, so either require a new game or will take place when a new troop is created.

Animations speed are not modifiable with the editor.

As for changing your skills, you could add dialog to someone and have that dialog option set your skills. Not a point and click task though, so be ready to spend some time with it to get that done.

I got the flu or a cold or some garbage like that. It is delaying my progress.

I'm pretty close to a release though, I have a couple hours of testing and then it should be ready.

Sorry about the delay...

It will support Module Resources I suppose ?

Anyway, you don't have to be sorry for the delay... You've already done alot for the community.

Don't be sorry man, you're doing us a great service by making this tool available! On that note, thanks for all the hard work

The new version is up. I didn't test it as much as I should have, but I'm still feeling bad and figured some of you might like to get ahold of it sooner rather than later.

Hammer away and let me know what I broke...
