unkillable bug??

I recently had large battle against 2 enemy hero armies attavking my village. Unsurprisingly my largely outnumbered men and peasants were killed so i decided to ride into the enemy army on my horse, once i got in the middle they killed my horse and i found myself on foot.

But instead of being instanly mauled by the large amounts of enemies around me i was unharmed, they were all hacking at me but they weren't actually doing anything there weapons were just going to straight through me so i happily hacked away, after i killed aboult half they could suddenly attack again and they killed me, has anyone else had this bug?

Uh well this bug has been here ever since... I started noticing this when I had 7.51 when I started to use the battle size changer thing. You just need to move your troops away for a little while.

I've seen this before. It seems that if an enemy on foot is in precisely a certain position in the middle of a swarm of mounted units, then the guy on foot "can't be reached" by the weapons of the mounted unit. Back in 0.751, I had two or three horsemen get killed by the last Sea Raider in this situation.
