Reason for wanting to be in the Town Guard/Civilian Watch (strike where appropriate) I'd enjoy roleplaying from an authoritative point of view, I spend most of my time in the town healing others and assisting guards, I'd like to do more than just help guards... I'd like to be a guard.
Not only that but I played on World of Warcraft roleplay servers for about 3 years and have been playing Garrysmod gamemodes such as HL2RP and have played roles of authority there.

Situations (Advanced Questioning for Town Guard applicants only)
Someone in town dies/logs out, they drop their items and armour because they have died. Someone quickly loots the body and steals the items, the person returns to collect their things (if they didn't log out) and sees that their body has been looted. You notice the event, what do you do?
I wouldn't do anything because the person died therefore the person who wants his/her belongings back is breaking newlife rule, I would advise the player that had lost his items to leave the player that looted his alone because he died/logged out therefore those items no longer belong to him. If he ignored me and harassed the other player I would then advise the other player to press 'backspace' and report the other player to the admins.
There is a fight in town, someone has insulted the other player verbally and a fist fight ensued. The players seem intent on beating each other to a bloody pulp and you must intervene using non-lethal force (not using weaponry), what will you do to break up the fight?
I would first warn both participants that If they don't stop It will result in either one of them receiving a punishment, If they continued to fight I would kick one of the participants away from the other to separate them from each other If that failed I would then raise my shield and try separating the two participants by parrying their attacks directed at one another, once the men/women hadstopped the fighting I would then jail&fine both participants and discuss question them to find out the source of dispute.
Someone in the town killed another player, and the player is very upset with the murder. Upon inspection, it appears that there was no major reason, other than some basic forms of RolePlay, the factions were not at war/both players were commoners. How do you proceed?
I would insist that the commoner gave up and came with me to the jailhouse, if he refused I would call for backup and force him into the jailhouse.
You have detained a player for breaking the law, however he continues to resist arrest and is refusing to listen to you or anyone else. How would you go about defusing the situation, and what would you do in order to calm the man down?
I would first try reasoning with the player If he was still acting unreasonable I would call for back up and fire a warning shot at the player to try to scare the player into dropping his/her weapons and giving up, If he/she still was being unreasonable I would then kill the player as a last resort.
There has been a horse theft in the town and the victim is irate. He is seeking to kill the player who stole his horse, who appears to have fled the scene. However, the thief has returned to town without the horse, and the victim has noticed him. How would you go about intervening the situation to ensure that nothing happens?
I would first ask the victim to confirm that the said player is the thief, If he answered positively I would talk to the victim and persuade him not to act rationally and do anything that will lead to him being detained&fined, I would then approach the thief and ask him to come with me peacefully If the thief struggled I would call for back up and try intimidate the thief into giving up by firing a few arrows near him.
