Resolved Unit grouping bug making sieges almost unplayable.

Users who are viewing this thread

So i've had now a couple campaigns going on during the past months and at a certain point the siege battles in both of these campaigns start to very commonly glitch out in a manner where all cavalry, archers, melee infantry etc. get automatically stacked into one or two unit groups, where they all are mixed, when entering the battle from the campaign map.

As you can see the horse archers/archers/melee infantry get stacked into one group and cannot be separated and this happens automatically.

I tried doing this siege attack with both smaller and larger troop amounts and also by disbanding the army and only using my party in the attack, but the unit grouping still gets messed up. The glitch happens both when keeping the units original group number in the campaign maps party settings, and when changing the groups to some other number. The screenshots are from the 1.5.0 beta and no mods were used during the siege. This bug appeared also in 1.4.2, but I used nexusmods community patch during that patch (I didn't play much during 1.4.3 so no data from there as far as I can remember).

The glitch happens with verified game files and with a clean installation without any added mods.
