Except that nowhere in the 1.010 module_items does the flag itp_unique appear.

It use to be there, but it apparently got the boot.

Uhm... 

In TEATRC there are some weapons that can't be bought from shops (you can take them from the loot pool), so probably we must search for this in its MS...

Why couldn't unique items be bought? You know that "unique" means "one of a kind", don't you.

Anyway, I thought that the itp_unique makes it impossible to loot the item.

yep, we know that...

I think it's better to give them to NPCs or kings... the player will be searching for the MegaArmour(+100) all over the world until he realized that he can't find it in shops... (or even loot it)

Being serious, after reading you I don't know how itp_unique works...

Items that are equipped won't show up in loot. Offhand, the only way I can think of to keep a specific item from turning up as loot, would be to only give a troop one of that item and no others of the same type. So if you only gave them a certain sword, and no other melee weapons, then that sword will always be the melee weapon they equip and thus will never show up as loot. I had this "problem" for a while with the dark elves in my mod not dropping any loot because I had only given them one of each type of item.

itp_unique items don't seem to appear in loot either.

There is the other tag, itp_always_loot to help with that.
