Put it in the spoiler but basically... heavy fog, cant see them but their bolts/arrows were still dead on towards me

Just to make me even angrier the round after this one it was 4 teams 2 people each... my teammate got wiped out right away I went on to take out 5 of the other 6 and still get eliminated....

The AI does not have impaired vision by fog, rain or buildings.
It always knows where you are - it will always find you. Run or hide, it doesn't matter

Sometimes you get the cherries, sometimes you get the pits. Or did you want cheese with that whine?

Oh you.

And I so want to play like that. That'd be ridiculously hard

Yes... aside from not knowing where my opponents were until they were on me it was possibly the most fun I have ever had in a tournament..

And to spittinglama they are still less effective in warband if it is raining, doesnt help if you cannot see wehre they are coming from though lol.

Yah, the fog drove me mad at some point. Until i found out how to remove it.
CTRL + ~ and type "cheatmenu"
Go to camp menu, click on the "CHEATMENU!" and then you can change the weather
Type "nocheatmenu" in console do disable

Would have to play with cheats enabled to do that....

That said I like the fog, just never seen it quite as thick as I had in that tournament.

At some point it gets so bad that you can't see on the travel map. I had to travel to another town a little on the other side of the map, and i didn't know where it was... got ambushed twice on the way there. It seems that the AI has fog vision on the map too.

Maybe it's just a latent killer instinct but before I saw the fog in the picture I couldn't help but notice that unprotected neck. Maybe I've played this game too much.

My first reaction was to angle my HGL Axe in so it fit in the slot.

Indeed, a tournament in the fog is like fighting in a pantry. But, the fog is visible before you enter the tournament, you can even see it inside the tavern, so just go somewhere else, because, as Confucius say, "Man who fight tournament in pantry, sure to get ass in jam."

Sometimes the tournaments can be annoying. Like when you start with a bow and a knife and the other guy has a shield and a hatchet... But it's things like that that make the game fun. I like being having the odds stacked against me... It's more motivation

Arenas aren't exactly huge are they? Just be thankful you're not fighting Rhodoks on one of the old "hilly" maps. >.>

That actually sounds fun... in a masochistic sort of way

Ya except for when you get a hit you swing so fast you can keep moving into them swinging and they don't get a chance to do anything. Unless you miss.
