Undead cheat?

Users who are viewing this thread

Do u know what i think? You see when many coders have made awesome changes to the game with editing the conversation.txt file that includes various commands etc. So would it be possible to make my character undead with modifying the conversation.txt or some else text file?

Vampires, ghosts, werewolves to an extent, I know what he means generally, but what does he want specifically that has to do with the conversation.txt?

I don't know what you have to modify but it should be simple. But it would not be conversation.txt, more likely menus.txt. Instead of changing the text files it would be easier to download Python and the module system files.
To my knowledge the native files contain 3 "races": male human, female human and undead (zombie) so you don't need new graphics.
I think Prophesy of Pendor has undead as a character option but I could be wrong, it's been some time since I looked it up. Perhaps you can do a search.

You are wrong whit the Prophesy of Pendor,it don't has undead as a character option,as much as i know...

No no no i didn't mean zombies i meant that my character would be invulnerable and wouldn't take any damage. But i didn't even know that there were some kind of a zombie race in M&B, but that would be also interesting...

Undead = zombie and co.

Don't know if that is possible (probably is through coding though)
Cheats might work

Either:

A. Increase your strength to ludicrous amounts, like one thousand.

Or

B. Import a new set of armours for yourself and increase their armour rating to really high numbers, like 200.

Troop Editor, go to ;player' (should be at the top of the list of troops) and find the tick box at the bottom which says unwoundable or something along thoselines, or increase your strength to 999. You can press the control+F4 cheat about 200 times and it still wont kill any troop with that strength value.

Just be easier to use the 'Health' cheat. If you haven't already made cheats usuable then do this.
Click on the M&B shortcut>Configure>Game>Tick on 'Enable Cheats'

then during battle or free roam just go 'Ctrl H'

That's not going to do him very good when he's trapped in a mob of heavy infantry.

Ehh just use the 'Ctrl F4' cheat, or use the health cheat and a fast sword like the 'Scimitar', anything with a speed over 100 or so is good.

The easiest way is still to use armor with ridiculous armor rating. Maximum with the editor is 255 but that's for each piece of armor. Armor over 200 should keep you save except perhaps against couched lances.

Ur idea is awesome. I only have only have one big question: Where can i find that 'editor'. I think i dont have any editor, so could u tell me where to download one?

Its fun if you have a mod you dont play anymore to put groups of looters into the game with 9999 health, no armour and no weapons with about 50 in each one, because theres nothing like seeing the mightily armoured lord galloping triumphently ahead of his men to spear one of these naked savages... before getting clubbed to death with fists.

Its also pretty cool to face them with a army of archers, because it will take a few hundred arrows to kill one. Walking hedgehogs!

It would be cool if you could die, then (after the battle) get back up in the form of a zombie, with 4X the strength, half speed, and the only thing that could kill you is a blow to the head.

Or, Die, then go and possess an enemy soldier as a ghost.
