What was happening when you got banned: Admins were saying "no bigoted language" so I said things like "you fa- ....idiot" or "that is so ga-  ...dumb". Then one person on our team had tked and I said "you fa- ...idiot" again and *pow* permabanned. Seems irrational to me, a temp ban would have sufficed.

You could have just temp banned me. Permabanning someone for saying "mean words" is kinda harsh y'know. And I believe I wasn't ruining the game for anyone, the chat is easily ignored

A permaban for bad language? I could understand if it was racist language but just "bad" language seems to be going a bit far, not to mention Higgles is one of the nicer players I've met on the server.

This. Didn't the admin say no bigoted language? Sounds like a warning to me. If you still don't get the point after a permaban, what makes you think a temp ban would set you straight?

A permaban for bad language? I could understand if it was racist language but just "bad" language seems to be going a bit far, not to mention Higgles is one of the nicer players I've met on the server.

Who is to say that homophobic language is any less worse than racist language? I won't say they're equal or that they're not,  but the admin said to cut it out...there should be no confusion there.

Outraged because someone was openly toeing the line of server policy by intimating homophobic slurs? Because the administration tries to keep a modicum of decency on the server? Because we don't let people say things that genuinely hurt others?

Ginjar was fully in the right removing you from the server, you were purposefully egging on the administration in order to get a rise out of them, and I fully endorsed the actions they took. People can be outraged all they like, but when they are outraged by the removal of someone trying to antagonize the people watching the server, and doing so by intimating homophobic slurs, they aren't really the people I look towards.
