WilySly 说:Personally, I'd rather this stay a 1.153 tourney. I haven't followed the new patch's development for the last couple months, but I've been told that it contains some substantial changes. I think it's kind of a stretch to expect teams to rapidly adopt these patch changes within the week between Round 1 and Round 2.

Disagree. The changes are good and promotes a fresh look to a stale and boring meta. I'd like to embrace it.
Netcode being optimized is a good thing, I've had the animations not loading problem for a while.
A simple "only one map of each category per match" or something along those lines would make it crystal clear. Though as far as I know GwA is probably one of the only teams who didn't already know this rule.CalamityuP 说:-Each week, two maps will be randomly chosen from each category (closed/open), resulting in a pool of 4 maps. Captains may only choose maps from the current week's pool. The same map may not be in the pool two weeks in a row. The maps will be selected on the Saturday (day before) the current weeks matches begin.
Juvenile 说:A good point. Just watched the stream, read up on the rules, and noticed this is as clear as it gets:

... so this week could of consisted of Sandi'boush AND Vandetta for a match? ...Interesting. Why are we doing fixtures again? lol It seems that more or less defeats the whole purpose now.Nord Champion 说:But you can choose from the same category. We noticed that disallowing the choosing of the same category isn't effective with only two categories. Thus, the only thing you can't do is choose the same map twice.

Calamity 说:- Winner gets to choose attacker or defender. The defending team gets first selection for map and spawn. The attackers then choose their faction, and the defenders choose theirs. Factions may not be mirrored, nor may they be reused on the second map. The category of the map selected may not be picked from again by the defending team (see map categories below). Maps may not be repeated. The second map is chosen by the attackers, who also pick their spawn. Defenders choose faction first on the second map, and attackers choose faction second. Again, no repeated/mirrored factions are allowed.
By the defending team... i.e. the defending team can pick a closed map for the first one and the attacking team can pick another closed map for the second one.Rhade 说:Calamity 说:- Winner gets to choose attacker or defender. Reading is hard.
