[UNAC S2] Meeting 2: Sunday, 12/15 9PM EST

Purpose:
The purpose of this meeting will be to vote and finalize the issues brought up in the first meeting. Unlike the first meeting this meeting will not be an open forum. Designated captains will vote on the issues. While we are still a quite a  few weeks away from the meeting (expect mid-december) the reason this thread is being put out early is to give out some info on what teams get a vote and how new teams will apply for a vote.

If a captain cannot make the time when it is announced, they may have someone represent them.

Teams that did not play in season 1 will have to apply for a vote. To apply for a vote please PM me the following information:

The application is in no way binding (Ex: roster or captain can change later). It just ensures that at the very least new teams are sponsored by a clan and have a good idea of what their roster will be. Applications may be denied if deemed necessary by the UNAC admin team.

Does it still apply if an admin is acting as a referee? I mean, isn't that part of why there are admins in the first place? To observe matches and make sure no rules are broken or no funny business goes on? To me it seems like an admin should be able to use streamer to observe the match properly, if necessary.

Does it still apply if an admin is acting as a referee? I mean, isn't that part of why there are admins in the first place? To observe matches and make sure no rules are broken or no funny business goes on? To me it seems like an admin should be able to use streamer to observe the match properly, if necessary.

It was agreed upon that there would not be an issue that would arise during the match that a tournament admin had to decide or see that very second and chose to leave things to the captains to produce to the admins if desired.  If something of that nature did occur, contacting one and pulling them in the server proves the best method.

So 6 is the highest of bracket B and 7 is the lowest of bracket A, and 5 is the next highest of B and 8 is the next lowest of A (meaning 6 outranks 5 and 8 outranks 7)...right?
 
I think I might have missed the details, but what was the reason for 6 getting an "easier" match than 5? Would it be a little more fair for 5 to fight 7 and 6 to fight 8? Not starting an argument, just want clarification.

6 is the LOWEST of bracket A (division A) and 7 is the HIGHEST of bracket B (Division B), 5 is second LOWEST of A, and 8 is the second HIGHEST of B. By winning Bracket B (7) you get the ideally easier match (the worst of A, 6) 2nd place ideally gets a slightly harder match (the second to last of A)

1st (went to finals, faced seed 4)
2nd (went to finals, faced seed 3)
3rd (went to finals, faced seed 2)
4th (went to finals, faced seed 1)
5th Eliminated, proceeds to promotion faces 8 (Div B 2)
6th Eliminated, proceeds to promotion faces 7 (Div B 1)
Division B;
1st (7th) Wins Division B, proceeds to promotion to face 6
2nd (8th) proceeds to promotion to face 5

Woops, yea I got the ranking backwards...meant to say it your way.

I see. So I'm guessing the reason is because 7 worked hard to win B, they should get the easier match (against 6)?

Apologies for taking the extra vote for WMT when WMt didn't happen. We didn't know we'd only have 1 team till we started looking at the logistics today,  Ijust went through all the votes and at no point was my vote a tipping point, nor would its removal change any of the outcomes
