  Free Banners and the Truly Sad Coalition has been granted an extension due to the DDoS situation, they have the weekend to get their match done.

  Rastaferi has officially dropped out of the tournament, every team will be granted a 16 - 0.

  tK_Red has been suspended for 2 games for violating rule 18 (this is his second offense of the rule).

  • During matches any all-chat messages that are deemed to be malicious, rascist, or bullying towards an individual on another team may be grieved and potentially disciplined upon review. This would start with loss of rounds and/or expulsion of player, and go from there as needed.

  • 
    Fixtures updated. Initial stage of tourney is now 7 weeks. Check the maps.
  • Changes to Gold settings. Yes, that's right. We're going to go with a compromise in the spirit of UNAC. Check Rules: Server Settings.
  • There can be no extensions given in a Swiss bracket. The admin team has come up with a policy regarding delinquent scheduling. Please read said policy in the Rules Post: "Round Robin Rules"

New Developments:

• GK has decided to withdraw from tourney. Bracket now has 8 teams and has changed. Tourney length will likely be shorter than 9 weeks. Admin meeting on Wed Apr 15th to finalize the details. Stay tuned.

Outcome:

• The UNAC 5 Admin Team has decided that the UMTT gold system will not be implemented during this upcoming season of UNAC. We do not believe there to have been sufficient time (a three week, partially uncompleted tournament) for the system to have been tested and it's full effects measured and discussed. While we recognize that a majority of UNAC captains present at the 4/12/15 meeting voted in favor of the change (5-4), It is the view of the admins that it would be in the best interest of the NA scene as a whole to not implement the UMTT gold system at this time. If anyone would like to discuss this further, has any complaints or concerns or would simply like a further explanation, please contact any of the admins.
• The round-robin must be extended to 9 weeks due to the odd number of teams. Because of this extension we're going to be adding Castellum and Swadian Town to open and closed.
• Brackets and fixtures will be posted shortly.
• Planned start date is this Wednesday the 15th.

Outcome:

• Administration team has been set in place, the team will consist of Arys, Clockwise, GreenKnight, and William.
• We've all agreed upon implementing a variation of the Swiss-System, or as we'd like to call it, the Americana-System (bc "swiss-system" aint murican' enuff) for this season. You'll be receiving more information pertaining to that soon.
• Planned date for starting sign-ups: March 23rd, 2015.
• We are adding a stricter policy on behavior to our ruleset, UNAC will not tolerate any unacceptable behavior during matches, things that classify as unacceptable behavior are bullying, discrimination, racial slurs, or spamming. Players who choose to break this rule will be punished harshly.
• Other than that, our ruleset will be staying the same for now.
