Unable to use mount in battles!

With some research I have learned that Freelance may interfere with some equipment depending on your rank in a particular military?

My issue is that I am unable to use my mount, even though I ensure that it is equipped before each battle, it is always automatically unequipped for me in battle, forcing me to fight on foot.

I guess this is related to my rank in the military? Is there a way to resolve this issue?

Definitely due to your current rank/soldier type... we don't want any of the Lords little plebs with crapy swords and shields having a horse when they are just a cannon fodder foot soldier 

* However you can still to my knowledge mount horses on the battle field.


Ps. FL2 IS still in development.. it's not dead guys
