Unable to open file: CommonRes\meshes_skybox.brf

Hi guys, when i try to open certain mods for the game, i get this error: "Unable to open file: CommonRes\meshes_skybox.brf", and i don't know what it means.  can someone tell me what it means and what to do?  Thanks!

Means the skybox texture is missing. Could particularly be a result of trying to use a mod release with an incompatible version of the game.
