Hey everyone, I'm recently jumped into making a mod for myself, I have the object and texture made and I saved the texture as a .DDS in Photoshop but whenever I import it into OpenBRF it just shows up as a checkered image. Am I missing something in the .DDS image? I've heard of alpha channels and stuff, I am saving it as a DXT1 DDS but nothing works, I've also tried DXT5.
Any help is greatly appreciated, I've looked at multiple tutorials and couldnt find anything about saving it in a special way. If anyone has a good detailed tutorial, please post it thanks!
EDIT:
Figured it out, had to have Open BRF pointing to my Module directory with the texture in the textures folder

Why does it show a white-blue checkerboard instead of my texture? The checkerboard is a replacement for when there were problems loading the texture. See under "settings" menu and ask OpenBRF itself what went wrong.
